If you want to optimize the performance of file-systems, you should find the follow entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE – SYSTEM – Current Control Set – Control – File System in Regedit.exe. You have to find the key ‘ConfigFileAllocSize’ in the right panel. You may create it in binary code type if it does not exist. You will see a popup dialogue if you double click this key. You may type the value ‘00 00 01 f4’ in it. It is ok after a restart.
To guard registry is to guard system.
